Hello Neighbor!

27 days and counting! Our 14th Annual Christmas Party is in view!

As always, Dorie and Greg Ketterer have prepared a menu and a venue that will put us all in the holiday spirit!

Many of us are “Regulars” – if you’re not, ask someone who is and we’ll all say the same thing, “Don’t miss it!”

A festive dining room, gaily decorated and featuring a wrap-around buffet table with every course from appetizers to deserts – or vice-versa if you choose to start at the far end!

The flyer tells it all (see below): music, food, door prizes, town leaders, OSDA gift items, face painting, gingerbread houses, and most importantly – good-hearted, holiday-spirit friendship!!

Thanks to many members who “gave a little extra” with their dues this year, we have been able to hold the price for the Christmas Party for the third or fourth year. You will note that payment and reservations should be made directly to ShoreWay. Phone calls will hold your spot, too.

Don’t forget the PARADE beforehand! All Dockers are encouraged to enjoy a “stroll” down Main Street starting at noon. Children and grandchildren are also invited to join in the spirit of the day. “Never were there nicer folk than in Falmouth-by-the-Sea” – Katherine Lee Bates had it absolutely right and it’s still true 150 years later! Come enjoy the parade as a marcher!

I’ll be reminding you of these events in the weeks ahead, but please keep the day in mind. Hope to see you there!!
