Board member Steve Saunders dropped off the 16 flower boxes at Soares Flower Garden Nursery early May and he picked up the completed boxes and put them in place at the Ellen T Mitchell Bathhouse before the Memorial Day Weekend. The OSDA presented a check for $1,093.68 to the Beach Department payable to the Beach Donation Account to cover the cost of flowers. Since 2021 Steve has watered the flowers in May and June before the Bathhouse is staffed and again in September once the bathhouse is no longer daily staffed.
